I'm Anna , HR and leadership practitioner, psychology nerd, and the person founders text at 9pm asking "can I say this?"

For close to two decades I've worked in People & Culture and leadership. I've also worked as a Chief of Staff, which is genuinely where I learned to coach a hard conversation and tie a people decision back to where a business actually needs to go - not something HR training teaches on its own.

I watched brilliant businesses stall for reasons that had nothing to do with talent. Leaders stuck in constant reaction mode. Managers promoted fast, never taught how to hold a hard conversation. Culture reduced to a values poster nobody could point to in an actual decision. Leadership development handed to HR and quietly turning into a competency grid, because nobody built the practice underneath it.

That's why I built Built to Lead, within my Fractional HR Consultancy, Cultur.Ed.

Now I work with founders and CEOs across Australia who are done being the de facto HR department on top of actually running their business. You've built something worth protecting. My job is to give your leaders the frameworks and the practice to run it — so it doesn't all sit on you.

I studied psychology before I ever worked in HR, and it's the lens I bring to every engagement.  I'll build the HR foundation your business needs, coach your managers until using it is second nature, and step into the room myself when that's genuinely the right call.

I'm not interested in handing you a folder of policies. I'm interested in your business actually becoming measurably more successful, and your managers being the reason why.
